The Xmeeting Car Enthusiast Convention was founded by AiKa Cars and was inaugurated in 2012, coinciding with AiKa's tenth anniversary. This event captures the essence of China's recent car culture, making it the most distinctive and diverse car festival in China. It's often compared to the "Goodwood Festival of Speed" in England.
2 Origin:
Just like the 'X' in Xcar, an initiative by AiKa Cars, the 'X' in Xmeeting represents the unknown. Its goal is to break the barriers of the insular car culture, allowing car enthusiasts of different ages, genders, and backgrounds to come together, collide with varying viewpoints, and eventually innovate. Here, being a car enthusiast is simply about having beautiful memories associated with cars. The term "meeting" suggests intimate face-to-face interactions, emphasizing close-knit and barrier-free communication.
3 Highlights:
The entire event is crafted into a car-themed carnival. Every visitor is treated to sights dominated by car elements. A "passport" with 8 themed tasks serves as a pass to navigate through this carnival. After completing this unique journey of car culture, each successful participant receives a mysterious gift. The entire convention, from segment planning to venue setup, is designed to be fun, interactive, and down-to-earth.
Xmeeting Woodstock (Section A): This section is a blend of "fashion, technology, and music." With dazzling stage designs, entertaining interactions, an exuberant ambiance, and a fusion of various music genres, it offers fans an exhilarating cross-border extravaganza.
Goodwood (Section B): This is a trip back in time, tracing the history of the world's automotive development. Numerous classic cars, many of which are debuting in mainland China, are showcased. There's also a chance to get up close with Dream Cars and see an array of modified vehicles.
