1 Introduction:
The Pebble Beach Car Show is considered the world's earliest automobile culture festival. In 1950, the first Pebble Beach Car Show was held at the Pebble Beach Golf Course in California, USA. Initially, it was merely an ancillary event to the Pebble Bay (another translation for Pebble Beach) automobile road race.
2 Participation Rules:
Not all vintage or concept cars can participate. The organizers of the Pebble Beach Car Show have set strict criteria for the participating models. If you or your team wishes to join the Pebble Beach Car Show, you need to prepare an application form for the participating car in advance. This form is then reviewed by the selection committee of the Pebble Beach Car Show. Only those approved can participate. However, once a car is approved for participation, it cannot be exhibited again for the next 10 years. This rule ensures that the models displayed at each show are different from previous ones. There are exceptions to this rule, such as: if the personal ownership of the original exhibition car changes; if the original exhibition car undergoes restoration; or if the original exhibition car is extremely rare. Due to the significant capital required for trading, restoring, and collecting precious cars, the Pebble Beach Car Show is regarded as an event attended only by the super-rich or die-hard car enthusiasts.
3 Highlights:
Today's Pebble Beach Car Show is aptly termed the "most expensive car show". The auction record for the exhibited models has skyrocketed to 38 million US dollars (equivalent to approximately 230 million RMB).
