How to determine if the oil pressure sensor is faulty?

The oil pressure sensor can monitor the vehicle's oil pressure status in real-time. When the oil pressure is insufficient, the pressure sensor will convey an electric signal to the ECU, which then illuminates the warning light to alert the driver. So, how should we determine if the oil pressure sensor is faulty?

1:If the oil pressure indicator light comes on after the vehicle starts, you should immediately turn off the engine and get it serviced as soon as possible.

2:Significant power loss. A damaged pressure sensor could likely result in inadequate engine lubrication. Increased friction in the cylinder can lead to reduced power.

3:A specialized computer can retrieve the error code "P01CA". This code indicates that the oil pressure sensor voltage is above the upper limit.
