Moving to the side profile, the new vehicle combines boxy styling with rounded edges, presenting a lively and robust appearance. In terms of dimensions, the BJ30 SUV measures 4730/1910/1790mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820mm, making it a substantial contender in its segment. It is equipped with 19-inch petal-style alloy wheels and 235/60 R19 tires, boasting a 25° approach angle, 30° departure angle, and 21° ramp breakover angle, with a maximum ground clearance of 215mm.

At the rear, the BJ30 SUV avoids the use of an externally mounted spare tire to enhance its rugged style, opting instead for color coordination to emphasize its substantial presence. A wide black trim panel below the rear windshield is complemented by vertical tail lights that illuminate in a D-shaped pattern. The black rear bumper incorporates bright silver accents, echoing the front design.

Inside, the BJ30 SUV features a clean and modern interior design at first glance, with a dual-screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch and 14.6-inch display to meet technological demands. It is powered by the 8155 chip, equipped with the Yuetuo Circle App, and supports FOTA upgrades. The vehicle also includes a flat-bottom leather steering wheel, yacht-style gear shifter, and turbine-shaped ATS all-terrain control knob. The rear seats can be folded flat, maximizing cargo space with a longitudinal depth of up to 1920mm. The cargo capacity is 1496 liters, with multiple anchor points for securing cargo using nets and other methods. In terms of features, the all-new BJ30 SUV will offer L2.5 level driving assistance functions.

Regarding the powertrain, the 2024 Beijing Auto BJ30 SUV will be available in both gasoline and hybrid versions. The gasoline version will feature a 1.5T engine paired with a 7DCT transmission, while the hybrid model will combine a 1.5T engine with an electric motor. The gasoline engine delivers a maximum power of 116 kW and peak torque of 235 Nm. The hybrid system offers a combined maximum power of 301 kW and peak torque of 685 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.59 seconds, with a fuel consumption of 6.45 L/100 km and a comprehensive range of up to 1000 kilometers. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with the ATS all-terrain control system, featuring four off-road driving modes.
