In terms of exterior design, the Saic Roewe RX9 SUV is built on the "Emotional Rhythm" industrial aesthetic design concept. It features a large, sharply-lined grille, paired with equally sharp headlights and adorned with Z-shaped daytime running lights, giving the front end a more aggressive look. The logo on the front is presented in the form of the brand name's letters, adding a unique and stylish touch. The new front bumper design is very dynamic, with fog lights embedded in the ventilation openings on both sides. Additionally, a probe is set up above the grille, indicating that the new car will offer a panoramic image feature.

The side of the car features a double waistline design. The upper waistline creates a wide-body visual effect for the front and rear fenders, while the lower waistline extends from the door through the concealed door handles to the rear, complemented by smooth door panels and 21-inch dual five-spoke wheels, giving the car a powerful presence. Other details include a "ULTIMATE" badge on the fender, symbolizing its high-end status. The design of the D-pillar is a highlight, with a chrome trim featuring a dragon scale pattern adding a technological touch to the side. In terms of body dimensions, the new car measures 4983/1967/1786mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2915mm, and offers only a three-row, six-seat layout.

The Saic Roewe RX9 SUV's lower bumper features a three-section design. It is equipped with large air ducts on both sides and a blacked-out trapezoidal air intake in the middle, decorated with a through-type chrome strip. This overall design creates a strong sporty atmosphere.

The Saic Roewe RX9 SUV's interior is equipped with a flat-bottomed three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a 47-inch full LCD instrument panel, central control screen, and co-pilot entertainment screen. The driving mode selection is knob-based, paired with an electronic gear lever, showcasing an excellent sense of technology.

At the rear, the new car adopts the currently popular through-type taillight design, with stepped taillight ends on both sides for high recognition when illuminated. Additionally, the dual-stage roof spoiler and dual-exhaust layout on the rear bumper give the new car a sporty feel.

Inside, the Saic Roewe RX9 SUV offers two interior styles: Warm Sunlight Beige and Classic Black. It features a 47-inch panoramic screen comprising a full LCD instrument panel, a central multimedia touchscreen, and a co-pilot display screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, enabling three-screen interaction for driving information, in-car device control, and entertainment functions. The Zebra Zhizhen cabin system performs smoothly, with excellent display clarity. The new car also comes standard with independent aviation-grade seats. The first and second-row seats support a 140-degree reclining angle and are equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions to enhance the driving experience. In addition to the conventional cup holders, the third row also offers USB ports. A 181cm tall tester found ample space in the first and second rows, while the third-row space performance is quite good for a mid-size SUV. Remarkably, the trunk space is surprisingly good; even with the third-row seats up, it can accommodate small items like carry-on luggage or backpacks. When the seats are folded flat, the space is very even and well-structured.

In terms of power, the Saic Roewe RX9 SUV will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power of 234 horsepower and a peak torque of 392 Nm. The transmission system features a 9-speed automatic gearbox with six driving modes and all-wheel-drive capability. Notably, the Saic Roewe RX9 SUV will also feature the CDC intelligent electronic control suspension damping system to adapt to various road conditions. For driving assistance, the new car is equipped with an L2-level adaptive cruise system, including automatic parking and lane-centering assist functions.
