2024 DongFeng Citroen C5X

Exterior-wise, the 2024 DongFeng Citroen C5X adopts Citroen's classic double-bar grille, extending to the split-type headlights on both sides, giving the front a strong sense of recognition. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4805/1865/1505mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2785mm.

The new car features a streamlined design, complemented by slightly protruding front and rear fenders and wide black wheel arches. Coupled with a two-tone body and hidden A, B, C-pillar design, the car looks more futuristic. Red decorative strips adorn the front fenders and doors. It also sports 19-inch diamond-cut Far Mountain Black five-spoke wheels, paired with a black floating roof and aluminum alloy luggage rack, giving it a more sporty and personalized look. The rear triangle window blends with the flowing light engraving, exclusive HYPNOS embedded custom logo, and C5 X exclusive logo, along with chrome-trimmed bumper guards, adding a touch of exquisite luxury.

On the vehicle's side, the streamlined design and two-tone body create a clear sense of depth. The rear design is particularly eye-catching, with the combination of two spoilers and the tail lights on both sides, further enhancing the overall sporty characteristics of the car.

The DongFeng Citroen C5X, as a touring version of the wagon, boasts a very spacious trunk space, which can expand up to 1,640 liters at maximum capacity. Additionally, this car has a drag coefficient of 0.287.

At the rear, similar to a station wagon design, it has a larger trunk with two sleek spoilers adding a sporty touch, and distinctive tail lights for recognition. The rear bumper showcases crossover elements. The entire body has a streamlined sedan dynamic, with a relatively high ground clearance for some off-road capability, and it also offers wagon-like storage space.

Moving to the interior, the car will feature light-colored leather upholstery, equipped with new-style Moonlight Grey leather seats, with grey Alcantara material for the headrests and surroundings, and a red Hypnos special edition label. In the center console, there's inlaid wood trim, along with metal accents. The Citroen's iconic steering wheel, full LCD instrument panel, and center screen can be found in the center console, giving the interior a layered and functional design.

In terms of features, it includes Dongfeng Citroen's latest upgraded C-Connect 3.0 intelligent connectivity system, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree panoramic imaging, front radar, sensor-electric tailgate, heated/ventilated front seats, 10-speaker audio system, retractable rear cargo compartment partition, rear cargo floor rails, stainless steel door sill decorations, rear cargo power supply, and more. For power, the new car is equipped with a 1.6T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 129kW and a maximum torque of 250N·m, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
