The Foton Mars 7 Pickup is based on Foton Motor's new P4 platform, integrating the features of passenger comfort, luxury, and intelligence. In terms of design, the front grille and headlight group are similar to the current Foton Da Jiang Jun G9, making it quite distinctive. The front grille has a squared design, enhanced with two horizontal chrome strips inside. Additionally, it's noticeable that the vehicle's front grille, headlight group, and front bumper are all considerably large in size. The headlight design on either side incorporates a dual "C-shaped" LED daytime running light, producing an impressive visual effect.

In terms of power, the Foton Mars 7 Pickup offers a hybrid system composed of 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter engines. Initially, the model hitting the market will be equipped with a 2.0T diesel engine combined with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The power reported to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is 120 kW, and the official maximum torque is 450 Nm, paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. Subsequently, the Mars series pickup will also introduce a DHT hybrid system and a model with a battery capacity of 100 kWh.
