Tesla: Global Deliveries Exceed 435,000 Units in The Third Quarter

Tesla has released its third-quarter production and delivery report. In the third quarter of 2023, Tesla produced over 430,000 electric vehicles globally and delivered over 435,000 units, marking a year-over-year increase of approximately 18% and 27%, respectively. This solidifies Tesla's position as the global leader in pure electric vehicle deliveries. Additionally, Tesla will announce its financial results for the third quarter of 2023 after the market closes on October 18, 2023.

In the third quarter of 2023, Tesla produced 430,488 electric vehicles and delivered 435,059 units. Of these, the production of Model S and Model X was 13,688 units, with deliveries reaching 15,985 units. Meanwhile, Model 3 and Model Y saw production numbers at 416,800 units and deliveries at 419,074 units.

During the third quarter, Tesla's production experienced a planned halt due to line upgrades and renovations, leading to a sequential decrease in this quarter's production. Nevertheless, Tesla indicated that its delivery target for 2023 remains steady at around 1.8 million units."
