On December 27th, Xinwanda officially announced the opening of its Sunwoda Dianbai Base located in the Dianbai District of Maoming City.
It is reported that the base is invested and constructed by Sunwoda Power Technology Co., Ltd. Covering an area of about 100 acres, with a total construction area of 145,000 square meters, the base is primarily engaged in the intelligent manufacturing of new energy vehicle electronics. It focuses on the research and manufacturing of products such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), Body Control Modules (BCM), Vehicle Control Units (VCU), and more.
The project was signed in December of the previous year, and on September 28th of this year, the first-line product trial production was completed, with the entire construction and production process taking only 300 days. The first phase has been fully completed and is now in production. The second phase is expected to be completed by July of next year. After the entire base is completed and fully operational, the estimated annual output value is expected to reach 6 billion yuan, providing approximately 1,000 job opportunities.
Chen Binbin, General Manager of Sunwoda Automotive Electronics Business Unit, stated that the base will be developed into a highly automated, digitized, intelligent, and informatized new energy industrial park in the short term. It will attract a large number of technical talents, support the development of Sunwoda's automotive electronics business, and promote the optimization and aggregation of industries in Maoming.
