According to media reports, drone footage taken over Tesla's Gigafactory in Nevada shows at least 50 Tesla Semis parked outside the factory, with around half of them being newly produced.
The Semi is one of Tesla's most groundbreaking products. After several years of development, the company began delivering Semis to its first customer, PepsiCo, nearly two years ago.

Although other corporate clients have also received Tesla Semis since then, overall production has remained limited.
However, Tesla is now preparing to deliver more of these trucks to corporate clients. Last year, Tesla announced plans to build a dedicated Semi production facility near the Nevada Gigafactory, and construction has already begun. In fact, the foundation of the new factory is already taking shape. While the new factory is under construction, Tesla is using its existing production space to continue manufacturing Semis.
Zanegler, a user on social media platform X and a drone operator focused on monitoring the progress of the Semi project, captured footage showing 26 brand-new Semis parked outside Tesla's Nevada plant. Additionally, 15 and 11 more Semis were parked on either side of the factory.
Zanegler noted that these Semis are likely part of the 100-unit order placed by PepsiCo. The trucks are also being used for demonstrations to potential customers. Finally, Tesla plans to use some of these vehicles to transport batteries, Powerwalls, and other goods.
