1:What is it?
It refers to a suspension system that has the ability to adjust the spring extension, shock absorber body, and damping. It is called a ratchet suspension because it utilizes a ratchet mechanism to adjust the height.

2:Characteristics
It is adjustable in height, and some high-end products can also adjust the damping. When the vehicle is stationary, the relative height of the four corners of the chassis has a significant impact on the weight distribution on the corresponding wheels. If one corner is raised, it increases the load on the diagonally opposite wheel and suspension, while reducing the load on the other two wheels of the diagonal. However, ratchet suspensions generally have short travel and high damping, resulting in poor off-road capability and comfort. They are typically used in racing and performance-oriented modified vehicles.
3:Function
It changes the minimum ground clearance of the vehicle, adjusts the absorption and rebound effects of the suspension system for impacts, and adjusts the front-to-rear weight distribution of the vehicle, thereby enhancing the vehicle's driving performance.
