Recently, the curtain fell on the Uruguay round of the 2023 TCR World Touring Car Championship at the El Pinar track. Chinese driver Ma Qinghua, driving the Lynkco 03 TCR race car, secured the championship in the second round. This victory marks Ma Qinghua's first substation championship since joining the Lynkco Cyan Racing team and represents the first win for a Chinese driver in a Chinese race car in a top-tier global competition.

This was the TCR World Touring Car Championship and the Lynkco team's first visit to Uruguay. The El Pinar circuit, with a length of 3.4km and 14 corners, is characterized by an uneven surface and narrow track width, making it a typical mid-to-low-speed circuit. Despite carrying an additional weight of 30kg on his Lynkco 03 TCR, Ma Qinghua expertly secured pole position for the second main race. After maintaining his lead from the start, he skillfully defended against multiple attacks from competitors behind him, eventually building a gap and confidently taking the crown.

After this round, the Lynkco Cyan Racing team sits atop the team standings with 546 points. In the driver standings, Yann Ehrlacher leads with 235 points, Thed Björk is in fifth place with 190 points, Santiago Urrutia is eighth with 172 points, and Chinese driver Ma Qinghua is ninth with 134 points.
