Jeep North America Head Departs Stellantis

According to media reports, a Stellantis spokesperson stated on June 6 that former Jeep North America head Jim Morrison has left the company.

From June 2019 to December 2023, Morrison was in charge of managing Jeep's North American operations. He was also tasked with overseeing the newly established Jeep Performance Parts division. Following his departure, Maserati North America CEO William Peffer will assume his role.

Morrison's departure comes amidst a five-year consecutive decline in Jeep's U.S. sales. Stellantis appointed Antonio Filosa as Jeep CEO last November. Filosa succeeded Christian Meunier, who had been leading the brand's global operations since 2019.

Morrison's career began in 1995 when he joined Chrysler. Over the years, he held various positions at Jeep and served as an executive for Ram North America from 2016 to 2019.

Stellantis stated that Morrison retired at the end of May this year. Recently, several executives have left the company. Last month, Tim Kuniskis stepped down as CEO of Dodge and Ram, Jason Stoicevich resigned as head of U.S. retail sales after two months, and Richard Schwarzwald resigned as Chief Customer Experience Officer last week. In January, Stellantis North America COO Mark Stewart announced his departure to become CEO of Goodyear Tire.
