At the 2025 Auto Shanghai, Changan officially launched its latest pickup model - the Changan Hunter K50 - introducing two configuration variants. Featuring a bold, futuristic design, the new model boasts an impressive 2.5-ton towing capacity, aiming to set new standards in the pickup segment.

The Changan Hunter K50 showcases a powerful and aggressive exterior, highlighted by a frameless-style front grille and adorned with the Changan Qiyuan brand logo. From the side, the vehicle adopts a double-cab design, offering both functionality and a robust visual impact. It also features distinctive elements such as various styles of roll bars and alloy wheels.
At the rear, the cargo bed supports a segmented opening design. The exhibition model comes equipped with a cargo cover and side roll bars for enhanced practicality and safety. Additionally, a square towing hitch is integrated into the rear bumper, providing certified towing capabilities for legal on-road use.
Inside, the Hunter K50 adopts a dual-tone interior theme with black and brown tones, maintaining a layout similar to that of the Changan Lantuozhe. A dual-screen setup - comprising a digital instrument cluster and a central control touchscreen - dominates the dashboard, complemented by twin grab handles on the passenger side for added utility.
According to Changan, the Hunter K50 supports remote OTA updates and is equipped with Level 2 (L2) advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Built on a non-load-bearing integrated frame, the vehicle is designed with a rear tow hitch setup, enabling it to tow loads up to 2.5 tons. Moreover, the pickup features a powerful 3.3kW cargo bed discharge panel, complete with a 220V outlet. With a reserve battery capacity of 227 kWh, it can power 2000W electrical appliances for up to 100 continuous hours, offering exceptional versatility for outdoor and professional use.
