The appearance of the all-new Toyota Vellfire PHEV hasn't changed significantly. The large-mouthed air intake grille almost covers the entire front face. Paired with sharp-looking headlights, it presents an aggressive stance, further highlighted by the matrix LED lighting inside. The lower bumper has also been modified, with the fog lamp areas resembling fangs, complemented by surrounding chrome decoration, making the entire front appear dominant.

On the side, the roofline is notably flat, a design choice that benefits the interior space. Additionally, a line has been added to the lower edge of the rear window, giving the rear a broader visual effect. Moreover, a youthful Z-shaped fold is noticeable below the B-pillar. The car also features two-tone multi-spoke rims and rear privacy glass.

Looking at the rear, the taillight assembly aligns perfectly with the side and rear window's lower edges and uses OLED lighting sources. Furthermore, a black high-gloss decorative plate connects the taillights on both sides, incorporated with the "VELLFIRE" lettering. The "PHEV" badge, reiterating its plug-in hybrid identity, is also present.

As for the interior, it aligns with the all-new Alphard. It boasts a new three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and a floating multimedia display in the center console. Beneath this display lies an air conditioning control dial with an LCD. Observing the rear seats, one can note that the vehicle will feature second-row airline seats. Electric adjustment, leg support, heating, ventilation, and massage functions are all expected to be available.

In terms of the powertrain, official details are yet to be revealed. However, the domestic models currently on sale are equipped with a 2.5L gasoline engine + an electric motor, forming the THS II hybrid system. This system, consisting of a 2.5L engine and an electric motor, delivers a combined maximum power of 211 horsepower. It's paired with an E-CVT continuous variable transmission, with the four-wheel-drive system as standard. Notably, overseas markets also offer a powertrain pairing of a 2.4T engine with an 8AT gearbox. This 2.4T engine boasts a maximum power of 278 horsepower, but this powertrain hasn't yet appeared on the Crown Vellfire.
