On November 12, Dongfeng Nissan announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei, making it the first joint-venture brand to engage in a comprehensive collaboration with the HarmonyOS cockpit.
In fact, during this year's Beijing Auto Show, Dongfeng Nissan had already revealed its partnerships with companies such as Huawei, Momenta, Banma Zhixing, Baidu, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, AutoNavi, and iFlytek.
On the same day, Dongfeng Nissan also posted a video on social media featuring an interview with Zhou Feng, the Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Nissan.
In the video, Zhou Feng stated that Dongfeng Nissan had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei to jointly develop an intelligent cockpit. He expressed confidence that, in the near future, Dongfeng Nissan and Huawei would be able to provide customers with a complete solution.
This partnership with Huawei marks a significant step forward in Dongfeng Nissan's journey toward intelligent transformation.
Additionally, Zhou Feng revealed in the video that at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show, Dongfeng Nissan would unveil a brand-new intelligent model, which will be ready for delivery and on the road by the second quarter of next year.
It is reported that the new vehicle will offer greatly enhanced comfort. However, the comfort upgrades go beyond traditional elements such as seating, TVs, or refrigerators. Dongfeng Nissan plans to bring a more intelligent experience to the model, providing comprehensive solutions that engage the senses of sound, sight, smell, and touch.
Furthermore, Zhou Feng mentioned that Dongfeng Nissan is expanding its R&D center, planning to double its current team from 2,000 to 4,000 employees over the next three years.
