On September 3, it was reported that Deepal has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the UAE automotive dealer group AL TAYER MOTORS to jointly promote the entry of Deepal's products into the UAE market.
Deepal, a mid-to-high-end new energy vehicle brand established by Changan Group in 2022, is a pioneer of Changan's Shangri-La Plan and Beidou Tianshu Plan.

In April of this year, models such as the Deepal S7 were showcased at the UAE Electric Vehicle & Smart Transportation Exhibition. At the end of last month, Changan Automobile held its Middle East and Africa brand launch event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where it showcased several new energy vehicles, including the Deepal S07 and Deepal G318.
Deepal stated that the formal signing with AL TAYER MOTORS marks a significant step in their partnership, demonstrating Deepal's commitment to localization in the Middle East.
According to public information, Deepal has already expanded its overseas presence into markets such as Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa, successfully entering countries like Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia.
Notably, in July of this year, the Deepal S07 was launched for pre-sale in Mexico, offering both all-electric and extended-range versions (with the former having a range of 620 kilometers and the latter 1,200 kilometers), boasting the capability to travel from Mexico City to Texas, USA, on a single charge.
In November of last year, the Deepal S07 and L07 were officially launched in Thailand. The Deepal S07 maintains the same overall design as the Deepal S7 but features a right-hand drive layout adapted for overseas markets. In April of this year, sales of the Deepal S07 surged by 90.9% month-over-month, surpassing BYD's Dolphin with 754 units sold, making it the top-selling all-electric vehicle in Thailand for the month of April.
