Countermeasures For Mixer Trucks

A mixer truck is a special vehicle. Not all drivers who can drive will drive a mixer truck. If it is not operated properly, it will cause the truck to overturn, the hydraulic pump, motor, and reducer will wear out too quickly or even have serious consequences. So it should be dealt with as follows:

1. Before starting the mixer truck, the mixer drum operating handle should be placed in the "stop" position.

2. After the mixer truck starts the engine, the mixer drum should be rotated at low speed for about 10 minutes, and the hydraulic oil temperature should rise above 20 °C before it can work.

3. When the mixer truck is parked in the open air, the mixing drum should be reversed before charging to discharge the accumulated water and sundries to ensure the quality of the concrete.

4. When the mixer truck is transporting concrete, it is necessary to ensure that the sliding bucket is placed firmly to prevent swinging due to loosening, injuring pedestrians or affecting the normal operation of other vehicles during travel.

5. When the mixer truck transports the mixed concrete, the speed of the mixing drum is 2-10 rpm. During the transportation process, the speed of the mixing drum on the flat road is guaranteed to be 2-3 rpm. When the road surface, or the road with large shaking left and right, should stop the stirring and rotating, and then resume the stirring and rotating after the road conditions improve.

6. The time for the concrete mixer truck to transport concrete cannot exceed the time specified by the mixing station. During the delivery of concrete, the mixing drum should not be stopped for a long time to prevent the concrete from segregating. The driver should observe the concrete condition from time to time, report any abnormality to the dispatching room in time, and apply for processing.

7. When the mixer truck is loaded with concrete, the stagnation time at the site shall not exceed 1 hour. If it exceeds the time limit, the person in charge of the site shall be requested to deal with it in time.

8. The slump of concrete delivered by the mixer truck shall not be less than 8cm. From the time the concrete is put into the tank to the discharge, it must not exceed 2 hours when the temperature is high, and it must not exceed 2.5 hours when the temperature is low in rainy weather.

9. Before the mixer truck discharges the concrete, the mixing drum should be rotated at a speed of 10-12 rpm for 1 minute, and then the material is discharged.

10. After the concrete mixer truck is finished discharging, immediately use the hose attached to the truck to drain the water to clean the feed inlet, discharge hopper and discharge chute, and remove the dirt and residual concrete stuck to the body. Fill the mixing drum with 150-200L of clean water. On the way back, let the mixing drum rotate at a slow speed to clean the inner wall and prevent the residual material from adhering to the drum wall and the mixing blade. Put the water in the water before charging again. Lose.

11. When the concrete mixer truck is transporting concrete, the engine speed should work within the range of 1000-1400 rpm, so that the engine has the maximum torque. During the process of transporting concrete, the vehicle speed should not exceed 40km/h to ensure driving safety.

12. After the mixer truck is finished, the inside of the mixer drum and the body should be cleaned, and the remaining concrete should not be left in the drum.

13. When the water pump is working, the mixer truck is prohibited from idling, and it should not be used for more than 15 minutes continuously.

14. The water tank of the concrete mixer truck should always be kept full for emergency use. After the machine is shut down in winter, the water in the water tank, water pump, water pipe and mixing drum should be drained and parked in a sunny and water-free place to avoid Frozen machinery.

15. In winter, the mixer truck should install the thermal insulation cover in time, and use antifreeze to protect the mixer truck, and change the fuel label according to the weather to ensure the normal use of the machinery.

16. When checking and repairing the hydraulic transmission part of the mixer truck, the engine and hydraulic pump should be carried out without pressure.

17. When adjusting the clearance, stroke and pressure of each part of the concrete mixer truck, it should be checked and approved by a full-time safety officer; when replacing the parts, it must be signed by the minister or the manager in charge, otherwise the relevant personnel will be held accountable if there is a problem.
