BYD officially unveiled the official images of the SONG L, positioning it as a sporty SUV, expected to hit the market later this year. From the official images, the new vehicle faithfully replicates the concept car's design. Its coupe-style silhouette exudes sportiness. Both in terms of detailed design and overall shape, it stands out impressively, marking a notable improvement in design compared to previous models.
The front design is intricate but not chaotic, with dazzling details that harmonize well together, conveying a pleasant sporty vibe. The side features a gentle coupe-like design. Although the sloping roofline starts from the C-pillar, due to the significant tilt angle of the A-pillar, the overall coupe feel is very pronounced. This design also ensures headroom for the second-row passengers, thus not compromising on practicality.

In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4840mm in length, 1950mm in width, and 1560mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2930mm. Given its sizable dimensions, ample interior space is ensured. Additionally, the new vehicle will feature frameless windows and hidden door handles. The five-star wheel design in the images is quite stylish. It's expected to be available for the higher-end or sporty variants, though other models might also offer it as an optional feature.

The rear design is equally sporty, adopting segmented diffusers and dual shark fin antennas. It's equipped with through-type tail lights, an electrically adjustable rear spoiler, and an exaggerated design for the lower bumper, giving it an imposing look.
Furthermore, the new vehicle will incorporate the CTB battery-body integration technology, intelligent electric four-wheel drive, and the Yunlian chassis system, making it highly anticipated. With a finely-tuned chassis combined with such a design, the new vehicle is bound to be a hit, likely attracting a younger consumer base as well.
