Recently, real-world images of the AITO M8 surfaced online. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, the new model is slated for official release within the year and is expected to compete with rivals such as the Li Auto L9. The photos show the M8 parked in a lot, and its imposing size is evident when compared to the sedans on either side, giving it a commanding road presence.

The exterior design of the AITO M8 differs from the AITO M9 but retains a similarly bold and majestic aesthetic. The front end features a newly styled headlight assembly integrated with a full-width LED light bar, creating a more robust and cohesive front profile.

The side profile of the vehicle showcases smooth lines, with window-edge waistlines similar to the M9. However, instead of fully hidden door handles, the M8 adopts semi-hidden handles, enhancing practicality. At the rear, the M8 incorporates a full-width taillight design akin to the "Galaxy Taillights" of the M9, but with a more grandiose appearance. In terms of dimensions, the M8 measures 5,190 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm, putting it close to the size of the Li Auto L9.

As for the interior, previous spy shots suggest the M8 will feature a triple-screen design similar to the M9, but with narrower screens. The vehicle will also be equipped with a head-up display and Huawei's exclusive audio system, ensuring a feature set on par with the M9. Additionally, the M8 will incorporate Huawei's advanced ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system to enhance the driving experience.

In terms of performance, the AITO M8 will be powered by the same 1.5T range-extended hybrid system as the M9. The range extender delivers a maximum output of 118 kW, while the dual-motor setup includes a 165 kW front motor and a 227 kW rear motor, providing robust performance.
