At the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show, BYD officially announced the pre-sale price of its mid-size sedan, the Seal DM-i. A total of 6 variants are available, with prices ranging from 176,800 to 246,800 yuan. Moreover, according to previous information, the car will be launched within August.
The vehicle's dimensions are 4980/1890/1495mm, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.
This car offers two BYD DM-i powertrain options. These include a 1.5L version and a 1.5T version. As for the pure electric range, there are two versions available: 121/200km (NEDC standard). Notably, this is the first time a mid-size plug-in hybrid sedan has reached a pure electric range of 200km. In addition, the car's fuel consumption is 3.9L/100km, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.9 seconds."
