Smart #3

The front of the Smart #3 features a continuous light assembly and a trapezoidal flat grille, with sculpted surface changes on the hood, giving the front end a muscular appearance. The performance version of the BUABUS model has blacked-out details, and decorative elements resembling cooling air ducts on the front hood, enhancing the sporty atmosphere.

In terms of dimensions, the Smart #3 measures 4400x1844x1556 mm, with a wheelbase of 2785mm. The car has a coupe-style SUV shape, with a flowing roofline from the A-pillar to the C-pillar and raised curvatures in the window areas, emphasizing the car's strength. Additionally, the car has optimized aerodynamics, reducing the drag coefficient to 0.27Cd.

The design elements at the rear of the Smart #3 echo the front, with a continuous tail light assembly, large rear spoiler, and thick lower bumper with a diffuser. Despite its compact size, it exudes a strong muscular presence.

The design of the Smart #3 continues the emotional and joyful design philosophy of the Smart #1. The new car features extensive use of smooth, flowing curves, with a continuous light assembly and a trapezoidal front grille design, creating the signature front face of the Smart family.

The interior of the car continues to adopt the family design language, with the T-shaped center console layout and the floating large screen all in place. The air vents below the center console have been designed in a circular shape, marking a distinct departure from the oval design seen in the Smart #1.

The interior design of the Smart #3 closely resembles the Smart #1, featuring a three-spoke flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel, a floating center touchscreen, and frameless doors. The new car has adjusted the styling of the air vents to a circular design, paired with ambient lighting for a sporty interior ambiance.

The T-shaped center console houses a 9.2-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.8-inch floating touchscreen display with a user interface designed to appeal to younger consumers. The built-in intelligent voice system supports 32 all-scenario non-wake-up words across 21 scenes, allowing for precise voice recognition for both the driver and passenger.

The seats in the Smart #3 are upholstered in faux leather, genuine leather, or plush material, and come with features like power adjustment for the front seats, heated front seats, and driver's seat memory. The seat design is innovative, with the front seats' side bolsters extending outward for improved lateral support. The rear seats maintain the same level of craftsmanship as the front seats, with a center armrest and adjustable independent headrests in the middle position, and seat cushions of equal length on both sides, providing comfortable seating for all passengers.

The Smart #3 is available in a single-motor version and a dual-motor version, with maximum system output powers of 200 kW and 315 kW, peak torques of 343 N·m and 543 N·m, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.6 seconds. It comes with a 66 kWh battery pack, offering different pure electric driving ranges of 555 km, 520 km, and 580 km, depending on power consumption.
