Li AUTO Ideal L8

The Ideal L8 belongs to the extended-range midsize SUV category. It has dimensions and wheelbase similar to the L7 but is one level smaller than the L9. The L8 is a 6-seater SUV, while the L7 is a 5-seater SUV.

In terms of exterior design, the Ideal L8 bears a high resemblance to the L7. However, noticeable differences can be seen in the third-row windows and rear windows of the L8, indicating that the L8 will offer a more impressive spatial experience. After all, it is a three-row seating model, while the L7 has two rows of seats.

The Ideal L8 comes standard with metallic paints in colors such as gold, silver, gray, and black, as well as three special edition paint options: special edition pearl paint in purple, special edition pearl paint in green, and special edition cold light paint in blue.

The new car will be equipped with seat lumbar massage, ventilated and heated seats in the first and second rows, as well as heated seats in the third row.

The Ideal L8 offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheel options, with a choice of silver-gray two-tone wheels and black-gray two-tone wheels. The vehicle dimensions are approximately 5080/1995/1800mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3005mm. As the successor to the Ideal ONE, it has been elongated by 50/35/40mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and the wheelbase has been increased by 70mm.

In terms of interior, the Ideal L8 will provide two "Smart Space" (SS) options: SS Pro and SS Max, to meet different user needs. The Air and Pro models feature the SS Pro system, while the Max model features the SS Max system.

In terms of interior space, the Ideal L8 offers a maximum legroom of 1021mm in the second row and 772mm in the third row, with a central aisle width of 181mm. The new car will be equipped with seat lumbar massage, ventilated and heated seats in the first and second rows, heated seats in the third row, as well as three-zone automatic fresh air conditioning, and a four-seat relaxation mode, among others.

In terms of powertrain, the Ideal L8 is equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder range-extender engine, with a maximum system power of 330 kW and peak torque of 620 Nm. It achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.5 seconds. The L8 is equipped with a 42.8 kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of 210 km and a comprehensive range of 1315 km according to CLTC standard. It is also equipped with the Magic Carpet air suspension. However, the Air version will not have the Magic Carpet air suspension.
