BYD Tang Champion Edition DMI

The BYD Tang Champion Edition DMI's exterior and interior continue the current Tang DM-i design, introducing a new Glacier Blue color scheme. The configurations have been optimized, with the new model boasting an electric range of 112km and a charging time from 30% to 80% SOC reduced to 22 minutes.

In terms of appearance, the BYD Tang Champion Edition DMI inherits the Dragon Face family design language. The three LED smoked headlights are particularly striking, with the flask-shaped center grille serving as a signature design. Additionally, the sporty black air intakes on both sides are noticeably prominent.

For its dimensions, the new model measures 4870/1950/1725mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2820mm, categorizing it as a mid-sized SUV.

Inside, the BYD Tang Champion Edition DMI 112KM Luxury and 112KM Deluxe 7-seater versions come standard with Gold Scale Orange interiors. The car is equipped with the DiLink 4.0 (5G) smart internet system, offering speeds up to 10 times that of the already-produced 4G, allowing for seamless HD video streaming and lossless music playback without waiting for load times, as well as cloud gaming. It also features a Dynaudio sound system with 12 speakers, including treble, midrange, bass, sub-bass, and surround sound. The Tang DM-i Champion Edition's heads-up display provides a larger imaging size, brighter display, and an expanded field of view.

Moreover, the new model comes with an NFC digital key compatible with both Apple and Android devices, operable through the BYD car app, Bluetooth key, and mobile NFC vehicle key. The seven-seater version adopts a 2+3+2 seating layout, with adjustable backrest angles for the second row.

Specific configuration adjustments include: the luxury version now includes the FSD adaptive suspension system, Apple NFC, and 40 kW fast charging. The honor version adds a 5G Dynaudio sound system and FSD adaptive suspension, but may remove features like the auto anti-glare rearview mirror, seat leg rest, and memory function. The deluxe version offers HUD heads-up display, auto anti-glare rearview mirror, seat leg rest and memory functions, and leather seats.

Power-wise, the Tang DM-i Champion Edition has been upgraded to dual-port 40kW fast charging, reducing the 30%-80% SOC charging time to 22 minutes. It features a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 1.5T turbocharged engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 102 kW and the electric motor's peak power is 160 kW. The NEDC pure electric range is primarily 112km.
