In terms of appearance, the 2025 CHERY Tiggo 9 SUV has undergone minor upgrades. The most noticeable change is a larger vertical waterfall-style grille, which the company calls a "Tiger Face." Additionally, the lower bumper features a through-type design, lending the SUV a more stable and dignified visual effect. The side and rear of the vehicle remain largely unchanged, with the addition of newly styled 20-inch "Chifeng" wheels.

The side profile continues the streamlined look of the previous model, avoiding excessive detailing for a steady, dignified appearance. The rear windows feature privacy glass, and it includes the popular auto-retracting hidden door handles. The vehicle measures 4,820 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,712 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, placing it on the larger side among mid-size SUVs.

In terms of exterior, the 2025 CHERY Tiggo 9 SUV has received subtle refinements based on the previous Tiggo 9, maintaining a bold and powerful look. Although the front retains its hexagonal waterfall-style grille, the internal slats are now closer together.

Inside, the 2025 CHERY Tiggo 9 SUV emphasizes the use of light purple tones and metal trim, highlighting a premium and luxurious feel. The leather-wrapped steering wheel offers a refined grip with a balanced firmness, while both sides feature integrated physical buttons on a unified panel.

Inside, the new model's interior largely retains the existing design, featuring a 24.6-inch connected screen setup and powered by an 8155 chipset. The air vents have a square pattern that adds a touch of design, while the front seats offer a massaging driver's seat and zero-gravity passenger seat. High-end models come equipped with a 14-speaker SONY surround sound system (including headrest speakers), a 256-color ambient lighting system, the C-PURE Chery Air-Pure green cabin, and a premium smart fragrance system. Seating options include 5- and 7-seat configurations, with the second and third-row seats foldable to expand trunk space up to 2,021 liters.

Powering the 2025 CHERY Tiggo 9 SUV is a 2.0T engine producing a maximum output of 192 kW and peak torque of 400 Nm, paired with either an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (for the luxury edition). High-end models also feature CDC adjustable dampers and an all-terrain intelligent AWD with seven driving modes, further enhancing driving quality.

The exterior and interior design of the 2025 CHERY Tiggo 9 SUV C-DM will follow the gasoline model. This variant combines a 1.5T engine and an electric motor in a plug-in hybrid system, delivering a maximum engine output of 115 kW and peak torque of 220 Nm. The electric motor provides a maximum power of 165 kW and peak torque of 390 Nm, with a pure electric range of 106 km under the CLTC standard, 82 km under WLTC, and a combined WLTC range of 1,400 km.
