The 2024 KIA EV5 SUV continues the design of the concept version in terms of styling, adopting Kia's new design philosophy of "Opposites United." Details such as the distinctive headlights are retained, contributing to a high level of recognition. The front bumper of the new vehicle features a trapezoidal air vent with a silver protective plate, presenting a bold and avant-garde appearance with a square and robust design.

The side profile of the 2024 KIA EV5 SUV exhibits straight lines, and slightly raised front and rear fenders give it a visually muscular appearance. In terms of the rear, the new car's taillights have a clean and recognizable design, sharing a similar style with the front headlights. The prominent KIA emblem is positioned in the middle of the light assembly. Additionally, to complement the front bumper design, the rear bumper of the new car is equipped with a rugged "armor," aligning well with the design style of the taillight assembly.

The interior design philosophy of the 2024 KIA EV5 SUV leans more towards home and practical use. Two 12.3-inch full LCD displays form a connected screen, including the latest generation ccNC in-car entertainment system from Kia with support for whole-vehicle OTA upgrades. The center console retains physical buttons and touch controls, with user-friendly positions and dimensions.

In terms of dimensions, the 2024 KIA EV5 SUV measures 4615/1875/1715mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Power-wise, three versions will be offered: Standard Range, Long Range, and Long Range AWD. The Standard Range model comes with a 64kWh battery pack and a 160kW motor, offering a CLTC standard range of 530 kilometers. The Long Range model features an 88kWh battery and the same 160kW motor, targeting a range of around 700 kilometers. The Long Range AWD version will have an 88kWh battery, a total output of 230kW, with a 160kW front motor and a 70kW rear motor. The EV5 will include intelligent regenerative braking and i-Pedal systems. Moreover, it supports fast charging, requiring only 27 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and the high-voltage battery can supply power to external electronic devices through the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function.
