2024 ChangAn ShenLan G318

The 2024 ChangAn ShenLan G318 adopts a rugged off-road design style, officially named "Starship," and offers seven body colors named after the scenic spots along the 318 Sichuan-Tibet line. The front end is equipped with a thick front bumper and an overall blackened design, complemented by C-shaped headlights on both sides, presenting a tough and sporty look. Additionally, the ShenLan G318 features a roof spotlight that can illuminate an area of 250m² and is combined with a luggage frame for a refined appearance.

On the sides, the vehicle maintains its rugged and straight lines, with widened off-road guards on the side skirts and front and rear wheel arches. The ShenLan G318 comes with 18/20-inch wheels in three different designs, with optional factory-installed AT tires. According to official information, its roof rack can dynamically bear up to 80kg and statically up to 300kg, with an optional roof tent that expands into a two-layer space accommodating five people for rest.

The ShenLan G318 incorporates more innovations into its boxy design, creating its own brand style. This design gives us the impression of a cyberpunk vibe added to its rugged base.

The car also strives to create a sense of premium quality in its materials. The majority of the dashboard and inner door panels are covered with soft-touch materials. Additionally, it is equipped with 64-color ambient lighting and a high-quality 16-speaker audio system.

At the rear, the 2024 ChangAn ShenLan G318 features a "Space Gate" theme with a solid and heavy bumper design and a full-size external spare tire, enhancing its distinct off-road vehicle identity. Additionally, it will be equipped with a factory-installed tow hook and high-mounted brake light for added off-road safety, with the top model offering an electric tailgate. The vehicle dimensions are 5010/1985/1895 (1960) mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2880mm.

Interior: The interior design of the 2024 ChangAn ShenLan G318 follows the rugged off-road style, offering three interior color options. The large, square lines create a solid center console design, complemented by numerous physical buttons, a thick gear lever, and a hollowed-out armrest for easy operation in various driving conditions. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument screen and a 14.6-inch central control screen, creating a strong sense of technology. It also features a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade, front seat ventilation/heating, 540° panoramic imaging (including dashcam function), lane keeping, lane departure warning, sentry mode, driver fatigue alert, Deepal OS ecosystem upgrade, "display enhancement" visual experience, five double-layer soundproof windows, and ENC active noise reduction technology.

Power: The 2024 ChangAn ShenLan G318 will be equipped with a range-extender power system. The 1.5T turbocharged engine can output a maximum power of 150 horsepower and is available in single-motor and dual-motor versions. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 185kW and a peak torque of 310N·m, while the front and rear dual-motor four-wheel-drive version has a front motor with a maximum power of 131kW and a rear motor with a maximum power of 185kW, giving the system a total power of 316kW and a peak torque of 572N·m. The vehicle is equipped with a 35.07kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a combined range of over 1000km, with a pure electric range of 190km under CLTC conditions.
