The Xpeng X9 MPV EV adopts the starship design language, featuring sharp lines throughout the exterior, creating a highly futuristic appearance. The three-dimensional sculpted design enhances the visual impact, breaking away from the mundane "boxy" MPV styling. The front of the vehicle showcases a distinctive integrated light strip and a progressive star butterfly front grille, adding a touch of luxury to the MPV. Two concealed laser radars are positioned beneath the lights, noteworthy for the Xpeng X9 MPV EV's light radar design that eliminates two forward-angle radars.

Looking at the side profile, the 21-degree inclined A-pillar adds a three-dimensional feel, and the floating roof gives a spacecraft-like impression from the rear. The overall flat exterior surface of the side windows effectively reduces aerodynamic drag, resulting in a coefficient of drag of 0.227Cd. The dimensions of the vehicle are 5293/1988/1785mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. The rear of the Xpeng X9 MPV EV resembles the expanded tail of an airship, exuding a dynamic appearance. It also features a one-piece star trail taillight design, incorporating the first embedded illuminable XPENG logo.

The overall design style of the Xpeng X9 MPV EV leans towards a more youthful aesthetic, characterized by distinct edges and corners. Its prominent design feature is the sharp and angular styling, with a futuristic starship design liberating the MPV from conventional aesthetic norms and breaking away from traditional MPV design paradigms.

The Xpeng X9 MPV EV will be the first to feature the XOS Tianji Intelligent Cockpit System, equipped with the latest generation 8295 intelligent cockpit chip from Qualcomm. With AI computing power reaching 30 TOPS, it is eight times that of the 8155 chip.

Inside, the central control layout continues the family-style design, lacking a bit of sci-fi compared to the exterior. Notably, there's no mainstream dual-screen setup. However, attention to detail is evident, with tension-filled air vent shapes and delicate mountain-themed real wood accents. The main body of the floating island below includes dual 50W wireless charging and an open storage space. As the first model equipped with the XOS Tianji intelligent cockpit system, the Xpeng X9 MPV EV brings the next generation of intelligent cockpit applications and service experiences to users. The new system's infotainment homepage supports split-screen functionality, fixed navigation on the left one-third of the screen, customizable shortcut buttons at the bottom, and a new Little P avatar, significantly enhancing the user experience. Notably, the hardware configuration features the trendy Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P intelligent cockpit chip.

Moving to the second row, it holds a prominent position in the Xpeng X9 MPV EV. The top features a 21.4-inch family entertainment screen with unique 0-75° infinitely adjustable electric angle, ensuring an optimal viewing experience for any seat. Further back, a 3.6-meter ambient light strip covers the entire rear ceiling, creating a highly ritualistic atmosphere. The ambient light surrounds the air vent, and the car is equipped with surround-sensing soft wind air conditioning, with over 6000 micro-holes. A refrigerator is also included, an electrically operated opening and closing refrigerator supporting voice activation, with a capacity of 10.8 liters, accommodating eight 570ml mineral water bottles. The Xpeng X9 MPV EV is equipped with the Xopera 23-speaker sound system, with an external power of 2180W.

The second-row seats have an electric sliding track of 1100mm, combined with a one-key convenient entry and exit function for the third row. The second-row seats can move fully electrically forward to create a spacious entry and exit space for third-row passengers, with a height of 1315mm. If the zero-gravity seats in the second row are not chosen, the third row can still be accessed through the middle aisle. The backrest and headrest of the third-row seats can be electrically and infinitely adjusted from 0 to 176°. Third-row passengers can also independently control the air conditioning, equipped with top and foot vents, dedicated charging ports, and cup holders for convenient use of common items.

Regarding the cargo space, the vehicle adopts a sunken design for the trunk, fully utilizing the rear space. The trunk has a large expandable volume ranging from 755 to 2554 liters. The third-row seats can be folded down, and the third-row seats support one-key electric magic storage, transforming into a large flat floor.

In terms of power, as the flagship model of the SEPA 2.0 swingarm architecture, the Xpeng X9 MPV EV is equipped with the full-range 800V high-voltage SiC silicon carbide platform. It will provide two versions with a single motor and dual motors. The maximum power of the rear motor in the two-wheel-drive version is 235 kW; the front motor in the four-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 135 kW, and the rear motor has a maximum power of 235 kW. The comprehensive torque is 640 Nm, with an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, and a top speed of up to 200 km/h.

In terms of range, the Xpeng X9 MPV EV offers the option of an 84.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and a 101.5 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, corresponding to CLTC working conditions. Pure electric range varies, with figures of 610 km, 702 km, and 640 km (four-wheel drive). In ultra-fast charging mode, the Xpeng X9 adds 300 km of range in just 10 minutes.
