GAC ES9 PHEV

In terms of appearance, the GAC ES9 PHEV will offer two front-end designs. The "Traveler" style will feature a large grille combined with a black lower surround, leaning towards an outdoor aesthetic. The other, named "Dragon Scale Wing" design, will incorporate an even larger grille, tending towards a business look.

From the side, its bold lines resonate with the GAC GS8, though the new model exudes a much more commanding presence. The dimensions of the GAC ES9 PHEV are 5015/1950/1780mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2920mm. The Traveler version of the GAC ES9 PHEV measures 5110/1976/1780mm with the same wheelbase. Standard features include roof luggage racks, automatic distance-sensing headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and eye-catching 20-inch rims.

At the rear, the GAC ES9 PHEV boasts a "satchel" design, offering additional storage. With the license plate repositioned to the bumper, the bumper has been redesigned to mirror the front, creating a harmonious appeal.

The front end of the GAC ES9 PHEV features a large-sized grille, complemented by a robust design within. Paired with the sharply contoured headlights on either side and a slightly shovel-shaped front lip below, it presents a striking visual effect.

Inside the GAC ES9 PHEV, a large area is covered in soft-touch materials, giving an overall high-quality feel. Most of the car's functions are integrated into a 14.6-inch central control display. Additionally, the new model is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.

Inside, the GAC ES9 PHEV offers three interior color themes, including the tech-inspired "Dark Night Shadow" and the elegant "Stardew Valley Universe". A majority of the cabin is draped in soft-touch materials, rendering a premium feel. Design-wise, the vehicle incorporates the prevalent trend of consolidating most functionalities into a 14.6-inch central control screen. Additionally, the vehicle features a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The interior ambiance leans more towards a homey style, offering a stark contrast to its aggressive exterior.

Tech-wise, the GAC ES9 PHEV will integrate the all-new ADiGO 4.0 Intelligent Driving Interconnected Ecosystem, encompassing AR-HUD, ADiGO 4.0 Smart IoT, and ADiGO 4.0 Intelligent Assisted Driving. The ES9 will be embedded with the 8155 chip, boasting a voice activation recognition rate of 98% and supporting ongoing conversations. Furthermore, the ADIGO 4.0 intelligent driving assist will support L2+ intelligent driving, a 30-inch AR-HUD, one-touch intelligent navigation activation, among other features. The vehicle will also offer a child exit care system (to ensure the safety of children alighting, with cameras detecting any child-left-behind hazards, and sending notifications) and a 540° transparent chassis.

In terms of space, the GAC ES9 PHEV introduces a 6/7 seat configuration, catering to various family travel needs. Notably, the vehicle will come equipped with "Queen Lounge Chairs" in the second row, with the backrest adjustable up to 131 degrees across 8 settings. The six-seat model assures ample rear space and comfort.

Power-wise, the GAC ES9 PHEV will feature a GAC 2.0T hybrid-dedicated engine, adopting GAC GMC's pioneering dual-motor parallel shaft series-parallel system, supporting intelligent hybrid, pure electric, and power-saving priority modes. For batteries, the vehicle is equipped with a 25.57 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC combined range of 1215 kilometers and a CLTC pure electric range of 143 kilometers. Additionally, the car supports fast charging, slow charging, external discharging, in-car power supply, and more. It can discharge up to 18.3 kWh externally, catering to the power needs of various outdoor electric devices.
