From here, a curved line extends to the rear of the vehicle, reaching its highest point at the top of the B-pillar. The surface of the front end is sleek and devoid of additional adornments, with even the brand logo concealed within the black area above.

Continuing the recognizable star ring lights of the Ideal L series, the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV incorporates these lights into the body surface for aesthetic and pedestrian protection reasons. The new star ring lights are flush with the body and lack protrusions or seams. Below the front end, there is a U-shaped area similar to that of the L series, integrating the lighting group, radiator grille, and some sensors. To clean the oversized windshield, this vehicle is equipped with extra-long wipers covering up to the top camera. Additionally, it features wiper blade water spraying, which incurs higher costs than traditional wipers.

The dimensions of the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV are 5350/1965/1850mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 3300mm. The massive body size may not be suitable for most "economically applicable families." Its side profile is equally sleek, with hidden door handles on the front and rear doors and low-drag 18-inch black wheels. Many concept cars aiming for low aerodynamic drag employ a convergent design for the rear end, and the MEGA is no exception. At the rear, it features a dual-tone design and star ring lights that echo those at the front, with most sensors, cameras, etc., concealed within the black area.

The 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV features a highly unique and avant-garde exterior design, incorporating elements of Bauhaus design style. It employs numerous curved surfaces throughout, giving it a distinct appearance that is sure to turn heads on the road.

In terms of interior design, the front row still adopts a dual-screen layout, now equipped with Samsung's fourth-generation OLED screens, featuring a peak brightness of 1100nit and PWM intelligent dimming technology. Additionally, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, providing enhanced AI computing power.

The center console of the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV adopts a layered design, with changes in the appearance of the air conditioning vents. The multifunction steering wheel with a small screen and the central/dual passenger screens are familiar to everyone, but the dual screens have been upgraded to OLED screens, and the vehicle's chip has been upgraded to the Qualcomm 8295 chip. The new infotainment system has improved in terms of computing speed and interaction capabilities. For the first time, the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV projects digital rearview mirror images onto the HUD (Head-Up Display), while retaining physical rearview mirrors and streaming rearview mirrors, and is equipped with the Ideal Platinum sound system, featuring 21 speakers with a maximum power of 2160 watts.

In the front row, this vehicle is equipped with slim-frame electronic interior rearview mirrors and dual 50W wireless ventilated fast charging. The front seats feature heating, ventilation, and a 16-point massage function (10 points for the backrest, 6 points for the seat cushion). Additionally, there are two highlights: the driver's seat supports cushion hardness adjustment, with Comfort, Standard, Sport, and Automatic modes, with automatic adjustment based on suspension settings in Automatic mode; the passenger seat has an electrically adjustable leg rest with an angle of up to 65 degrees, which can be used without moving the seat backward.

The second row is where the MEGA shines. It is equipped with a 17-inch OLED screen with a 3K resolution, claimed to be the first model to offer both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos experiences simultaneously. In addition to improvements in projection audio compared to the L series, there is a small table and an onboard refrigerator on the front passenger side, with the refrigerator using compression for cooling/heating, with temperatures ranging from 0-7°C/35-50°C and a volume of 8.8L. The rear air conditioning control on the refrigerator uses a touchscreen, replacing the physical buttons of previous models.

The independent seats in the second row are even more powerful, featuring 16-point massage, 270-degree enveloping heating (including armrests, leg rests, backrests, and seat cushions), seat ventilation, and 50W wireless ventilated fast charging. According to official data, the seat cushion length is 530mm, the backrest height is 613mm, the backrest angle can be laid flat up to 70 degrees, and the leg rest adjustment angle can reach 78 degrees. After installing two independent seats, the width of the central aisle of the vehicle is still 160mm, relatively friendly for third-row passengers to enter and exit.

Thanks to its spacious body, the third row of the MEGA is also very roomy. This position features side windows over 1 meter long, with seat cushion lengths of 530mm and backrest heights of 613mm for the third-row seats, providing comfortable headrests, electrically adjustable backrest angles, and seat heating functions. Additionally, to facilitate communication between front and third-row passengers, the vehicle offers a communication function between the first and third rows. The third-row seats can be electrically folded down or folded forward with one touch, with a folding depth of up to 1066mm when folded, while its standard folding depth can reach 680mm.

In terms of intelligent driving configurations, the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV is consistent with the L series, equipped with the AD Max intelligent driving software and hardware, featuring two NVIDIA Orin-X intelligent driving chips with a computing power of 508 TOPS, along with 128-line lidar, 11 cameras, one forward millimeter-wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic radars. It's worth mentioning that Ideal Cars will release version 5.2 OTA update in the first half of this year, initiating full-scene intelligent driving, making the Ideal MEGA's lane changes and overtaking more like that of experienced drivers.

In terms of safety, the vehicle comes standard with 9 airbags, with the sides featuring up to 90 liters and 3.2 meters long side curtain airbags, covering all three rows of occupants. The official stated that its white body torsional stiffness reaches up to 44,000 Nm/deg, and the Ideal MEGA adopts an aluminum alloy rear anti-collision beam, an integrated die-cast aluminum alloy rear floor frame, and a buffer space of 800mm in the third row, with the third-row seat backrest frame using high-strength steel of one gigapascal.

Based on an 800V pure electric architecture, the 2024 Li Auto MEGA Max MPV EV features a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system, with a maximum power of 155kW for the front motor, 245kW for the rear motor, a comprehensive maximum power of 400kW, and a peak torque of 542Nm, achieving an acceleration time of 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds. Additionally, with its ultra-low drag coefficient, its CLTC condition energy consumption is only 15.9 kWh/100km. In terms of batteries, the vehicle is equipped with the Kirin 5C battery developed in cooperation with CATL, with a capacity of 102.7 kWh, providing a CLTC range of 710km. Regarding charging, the official claims that using supercharging can achieve a range of 500km in 12 minutes, with a peak charging power of 520kW. Additionally, it supports 3.5kW external discharge.
