In terms of appearance, the Leapmotor C01 EV abandons complex line designs, opting for a plethora of clean surfaces to enhance overall smoothness. The front headlights feature a through-type design, incorporating 48 crystal headlights. Additionally, the new car supports various lighting modes such as unlock, lock, follow-me-home, find car summoning, fast and slow charging, and supports OTA upgrades.

The lines on the side of the car are more gentle and stretched, and the coupe-style design, along with concealed door handles, enhances the sense of sportiness and ceremony. The new car is also equipped with frameless doors, 19-inch semi-enclosed rotor wheels, and other detailed designs. The dimensions are 5050/1902/1509mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2930mm, and the official wind resistance coefficient is only 0.226.

The design of the rear echoes the front face, with the LEAPMOTOR brand logo connecting the through-type taillights, complemented by a high-raised ducktail design, adding a dynamic touch.

The Leapmotor C01 EV emphasizes a sporty aesthetic in its exterior design, and its large dimensions also contribute to a commanding executive presence. The lower air intake is treated with a black finish, and, in terms of details, both the wheel hubs and side mirrors undergo the same black treatment.

The Leapmotor C01 EV features a three-screen central control system, with a particular emphasis on the size of the central display, measuring 12.8 inches. The co-pilot screen and the full LCD instrument panel are both 10.25 inches. The interior is equipped with automatic air conditioning, and there are also air vents in the rear for passenger comfort.

As for the interior, the central console area of the new car adopts the T-shaped triple screen design from the Leapmotor C11. The infotainment system has 12GB of memory, 128GB of storage space, supports three-screen linkage, independent Bluetooth connection for the co-pilot screen, and music sharing across the three screens. It uses the Qualcomm SA 8155P digital cockpit chip, equipped with the iFlytek 3.5 generation voice recognition system, combined with high-quality microphones, capable of recognizing most natural voice commands.

In terms of other features, the vehicle uses AI facial recognition for quick start-up, achieving rapid identification within seconds and supporting up to 8 ID memories. The cabin features a silver-plated heat-insulating panoramic roof and double-layer laminated coating. The seats are made of Nappa leather, offering ventilation, heating, massage functions, and providing a rare executive seat configuration in its class. The sound system includes 12 high-performance speakers and an 8-channel DSP power amplifier.

Regarding driving assistance systems, the Leapmotor C01 EV is equipped with Leapmotor Pilot intelligent driving, using the Lingxiang 01 autonomous driving chip. It includes dual cameras, forward millimeter-wave radar, four corner millimeter-wave radar, twelve ultrasonic radars, four surround-view cameras, four blind-spot cameras, and one facial recognition camera. All models come standard with 23 advanced functions, achieving Level 2 intelligent driving assistance. In the future, more than 22 intelligent driving assistance functions will be opened. It is reported that the map navigation assistance NOA function will provide both subscription and one-time purchase options.

In terms of power, the Leapmotor C01 EV is equipped with a variable architecture oil-cooled electric drive, with a maximum speed of 16,000 rpm, a maximum power of 200 kW, and a peak torque of 300 N·m-500 N·m, with a design life of over 1 million kilometers. The four-wheel-drive version is equipped with two oil-cooled electric drives, with a maximum output power of 400 kW and a maximum torque of 720 N·m. The official statement indicates that the 630 Pro+ four-wheel-drive high-performance version can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.66 seconds.

In terms of range, the Leapmotor C01 EV offers four options: the base model has a range of 525 km, the mid-range model has a range of 606 km, the high-end model has a range of 717 km, and the top-end high-performance model has a range of 630 km.
