In terms of exterior design, the 2024 HuaWei Stelato S9 EV Sedan adopts a rather simple design language, featuring C-shaped headlights combined with a through-type light strip. The iconic galaxy headlights use a brilliant star diamond process, which not only enhances the vehicle's recognizability but also adds a sense of technological sophistication. The new car boasts a drag coefficient of 0.193, lower than that of traditional luxury cars. Moving to the side, as a coupe sedan, the car has a sleek roofline with smooth, simple side body lines, giving it a visually pleasing overall appearance. The vehicle's dimensions are 5160/1987/1486mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3050mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large-sized sedan. The new car is equipped with intelligent electronic exterior mirrors, which dynamically adjust the rear view, turning, and high-speed vision, providing twice the field of view compared to traditional mirrors and reducing front-side blind spots by 60%. The new car also features frameless doors and offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheel options. At the rear, the car adopts a trendy through-type taillight design, with a small ducktail-like feature on the trunk lid, adding to the vehicle's layered look. Additionally, the lower surround does not use an exaggerated diffuser design, making the overall appearance more stable. In terms of hardware, the car is equipped with a 192-thread laser radar capable of detecting up to 250 meters, three millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, seven high-perception cameras, and four panoramic cameras.

With more powerful computing capabilities, the HuaWei Stelato S9 offers smoother following and gentler lane changes. It debuts with parking-to-parking intelligent driving, supporting features like parking lot startup, roadside temporary stops, and automatic barrier passage, providing seamless operation across all scenarios. The parking abilities have been further enhanced, now supporting parking after obstacles are removed, and remote one-touch parking in and out. The valet parking feature is now commercially available, allowing the car to drive and park itself.

To accommodate a wider range of users, the HuaWei Stelato S9 is equipped with anti-motion sickness and brake comfort modes. These modes optimize the acceleration experience and suspension pitch to minimize discomfort caused by excessive weight shift during braking. This feature is also part of creating a more refined dynamic driving experience.

Inside, the 2024 HuaWei Stelato S9 EV Sedan features a dashboard adorned with rich horizontal lines, complemented by a three-spoke unconventional steering wheel, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, and a 15.6-inch central floating touchscreen, aligning with the current design trends and aesthetics of mainstream new energy vehicles. Additionally, there is a phone wireless charging pad with cooling function under the central screen, enhancing the user experience. It also features a MagLink interface behind the front seats for connecting tablets. The car is equipped with the new HarmonyOS 4 system, further upgrading the intelligent cockpit. In terms of intelligent driving, the S9 will be upgraded to ADS 3.0 (compared to ADS 2.0 in the AITO M9), adopting a new end-to-end architecture, significantly enhancing its capabilities in intelligent driving, intelligent parking, and active safety. The car's charging configuration includes two Type-C charging ports in the front, two front wireless charging positions, one Type-C charging port in the rear, and one rear wireless charging position. For seating, the new car will feature Comfort Cloud zero-gravity seats (with zero-gravity seats also available in the rear), standard NAPPA leather seats, and all four seats will include ventilation, heating, and massage functions, with adjustable backrest angles. In terms of privacy, the car's rear windows are designed with privacy glass, and the entire series comes standard with a physical sunshade curtain for the roof, an electric sunshade for the rear window and rear windshield, a manual sunshade for the rear triangular window, and an electric curtain for creating a private space. Additionally, the car will be equipped with the HUAWEI SOUND SUPERIOR panoramic sound system. For comfort, the new car comes standard with a leather steering wheel, wooden interior, second-row boss seat small table, and a heated and cooled box in the rear armrest, with all four windows using double-layer laminated soundproof glass.

The interior features a dual temperature control cooling and heating box ranging from 3-50 degrees, with 31 storage spaces throughout the car, 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and a 13.2-inch tablet with Huawei MagLink in the rear. The rear also includes a sunroof, side windows, and rear window equipped with electric sunshades that can be operated with one button, along with a 32-inch automotive-grade projection giant screen. The rear is equipped with a dedicated secretary screen that can rotate 0-45 degrees to control the seats, air conditioning, cooling and heating box, volume, and screen. The new car is equipped with Huawei's top sound system, with a large model Xiaoyi for exclusive information. The interior can achieve a one-button front and rear sound shield for a private space. The front and rear trunk volumes are 38L and 378L, respectively, which are smaller compared to the 500L+ trunk volumes of the 7 Series/A8/S-Class. However, its advantage lies in the more distributed storage, with a front trunk and a well-organized area under the rear trunk partition for storing items.

In terms of power, the 2024 HuaWei Stelato S9 EV Sedan will offer both single-motor and dual-motor versions. The single-motor version has a maximum power output of 227 kW, while the all-wheel-drive model has a maximum combined power of 385 kW and a peak torque of 673 Nm. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration times are 6.05 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively. The battery is a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery, with an average energy consumption of 13.2 kWh/100 km. The range is 816 km and 721 km, respectively, with the entire series adopting Huawei's 800V Whale architecture, which the company claims can replenish 200 km of range in just 5 minutes.

The 2024 HuaWei Stelato S9 EV Sedan is equipped with the Turing chassis, featuring a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link suspension, with air suspension and CDC variable damping shock absorbers as standard across the entire range. The new car comes with ADC adaptive damping control, which intelligently adjusts the damping. The new car also features a motion sickness relief mode, which achieves intelligent torque control. The maximum wading depth is 430 mm.
