Tips for Novice Motorcycle Riders

For novice motorcycle riders, it's essential to first understand the basic structure and control components of a motorcycle. Learning to operate the front and rear brakes, clutch, throttle, and other components is the first step. When starting the motorcycle, make sure to insert the key and turn it to the "ON" position to power up.

Check the gear displayed on the dashboard to ensure it's in neutral, then press the "Ignition" button. Next, start the motorcycle, grip the left clutch lever, and gently press down on the gear shift lever to engage first gear. During this process, feel the engine's vibrations, gradually release the clutch while gently applying the brakes until the motorcycle smoothly starts moving.

While riding, it's necessary to shift gears according to different road conditions and speed requirements. Each gear corresponds to a different speed range; for example, first gear is suitable for speeds below 10 km/h, while sixth gear is suitable for speeds above 60 km/h. Remember to pull in the clutch when shifting gears, shifting up by lifting the gear shift lever, and shifting down by pressing it down.

Before stopping, gradually decelerate and shift the gear to neutral.

This approach helps the motorcycle come to a smooth stop, avoiding issues that may arise from not shifting to neutral. Overall, novice motorcycle riders should pay attention to details when starting out and master each step to ensure safe and smooth riding.
