A common fault code in BMW vehicles is the inability to achieve full transmission power. This is often caused by a damaged engine ignition coil or cylinder misfire. This fault code typically appears on the central control screen of BMW cars and can be triggered by various reasons.

The following are common reasons why a BMW might indicate it cannot achieve full transmission power:
⚪Insufficient fuel level
⚪Insufficient engine warm-up time when cold
⚪Poor fuel quality
⚪Severe carbon buildup in the fuel system
⚪Throttle or injector malfunctions
⚪Faulty fuel pump
⚪Issues with ignition coils or spark plugs
Solutions for transmission system faults include:
Ignition Coil Fault:
This can cause engine shaking, transmission system fault alerts during rapid acceleration, and engine warning lights. Timely replacement of spark plugs can extend their service life.
Clutch Slippage:
This can lead to difficulties in starting the car, weak driving power, and poor acceleration. In severe cases, there may be a burnt smell or black smoke. The solution is to replace the clutch disc.
Transmission System Noise:
If there is a rattling sound during vehicle start, and the sound becomes more apparent when changing speeds, especially at low speeds, check and replace the necessary parts.
Gearbox Jumping Out of Gear:
If the gearbox automatically shifts to neutral while driving, check and replace the necessary parts.
Incomplete Clutch Disengagement:
Frequent difficulty in shifting gears, grinding noise from the gears, and the vehicle moving or the engine stalling when the clutch pedal is not released after shifting gears indicate a need to replace the release bearing.
Vehicle Start Vibration:
If the vehicle body shakes due to uneven clutch engagement during start, replace the clutch.
Fuel System Faults:
These require extensive checks, including the fuel pump module, injectors, and high-pressure fuel pump. For turbocharging system faults, the most common cause is a damaged or dirty vacuum pressure solenoid valve, which can be resolved through cleaning.
