When dealing with a decline in lead-acid battery capacity, there are several effective restoration methods.

The first is the charge-discharge activation method, which can stimulate the battery's internal potential, enhance its memory effect, and restore its charge to optimal levels. For mildly damaged lead-acid batteries, this is a relatively simple yet effective solution.

Another viable option is adding a battery restoration fluid, also known as a battery capacity enhancer. This fluid contains various chemical components that can be converted into electrical energy, helping the battery recover to approximately 90% of its original capacity. However, this method can only extend an electric vehicle battery's lifespan by about one year and does not provide substantial help for severely damaged batteries.

Additionally, when addressing a deeply discharged lead-acid battery, methods such as adding distilled water, charging with headlights on, using a low-voltage charger, or visiting a smart fast-charging station can be effective. These techniques help reactivate the battery, allowing it to hold a charge properly and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of an electric vehicle.
