Inductive Trunk Opening

1:What is it used for?

1
With the presence of an inductive key fob, the vehicle owner can simply swipe their foot near the bottom of the rear bumper's sensor to automatically open the trunk, providing added convenience.

2:Advantages
When carrying items, there's no need to put them down and take out the key to open the trunk. By performing a foot gesture near the sensor, the trunk can be opened effortlessly, offering greater convenience and saving effort.

3:Did you know?

The sensor for the inductive trunk opening is typically located at the bottom of the rear bumper.
For vehicles with a single sensor, it is usually positioned directly beneath the rear emblem, while vehicles with multiple sensors have them on both sides of the rear bumper.
When the trunk is opened through the inductive system, the high-level brake light or the vehicle's tail lights will flash as a signal to the owner, preventing collisions.
Some models equipped with inductive trunk opening can both open and close the trunk using the same gesture-based method.
4:Principle
When the vehicle owner carrying the inductive key fob enters a certain range, the sensor of the inductive trunk opening system generates an electric field. When the owner moves their foot beneath the middle section of the rear bumper, the electric field is interrupted. This interruption authenticates the vehicle key and sends an electronic pulse to the trunk latch system, unlocking and opening the trunk.
