Using a car jack safely and correctly is essential when changing a tire or performing minor repairs. Follow these steps:

Park Safely – Park the car on a flat, stable surface. Engage the parking brake and turn off the engine.
Secure the Vehicle – Place wheel chocks (or heavy objects) behind the wheels that will remain on the ground to prevent rolling.
Locate the Jack Points – Check your owner's manual to find the correct jacking points under the car. These are reinforced areas designed to support the vehicle's weight.
Position the Jack – Place the jack under the designated jack point closest to the wheel you need to lift. Ensure it is stable and properly aligned.
Lift the Car – Turn the jack handle (or crank) clockwise to raise the vehicle slowly until the tire is off the ground. Do not go under the car while it is supported only by the jack.
Perform the Necessary Work – Change the tire or complete the required repair.
Lower the Car – Slowly turn the jack handle counterclockwise to lower the vehicle gently back to the ground.
Remove the Jack – Once the car is stable, remove the jack and store it properly.
Safety Tips:
Never use a jack on an uneven or soft surface.
Always use jack stands if working under the car.
Do not place any body parts under the vehicle while it's only supported by a jack.
If unsure, refer to your car's manual for specific instructions.
