Water stains on the car windshield are actually quite common and are often formed during rainy or foggy weather. However, this does not mean that these stains cannot be removed; in fact, they can be effectively eliminated. There are three methods to effectively remove water stains from the windshield: using toothpaste for wiping, using windshield cleaning solution for wiping, or taking the vehicle to a specialized detailing shop for cleaning.
The first method involves using toothpaste for cleaning. Toothpaste has excellent cleaning properties, and for this method, the car owner can dip a cloth into toothpaste and evenly apply it to the windshield. After applying, wait for about a minute and then clean the windshield. After cleaning, the water stains should be almost gone.

The second method is to use windshield washer fluid. This refers to a specialized windshield cleaning solution, not the spray-on washer fluid. It is highly recommended to use a dedicated glass cleaner for cleaning the windshield because it provides better cleaning effects and can eliminate water stains more effectively.

The third method is quite simple: take the vehicle to a specialized car detailing shop and let professional staff help remove the water stains from the windshield. In most cases, they would use the first or second method for cleaning. If car owners prefer not to spend money on this service, they can also use dish soap at home for cleaning, as dish soap not only has excellent cleaning capabilities but also helps prevent the reoccurrence of water stains after cleaning.
