The keyless start system is part of smart vehicles, allowing for quick startup with the push of a button. This device can be retrofitted in the original key lock position or on a separate panel, providing convenience for drivers. Besides the startup function, it also includes an engine shutdown feature.
When the engine start button is in the OFF position, the steering wheel is automatically locked to provide anti-theft protection. Additionally, the steering wheel also locks automatically when the door is opened or the smart key is removed from the ignition lock cylinder.

However, if the steering wheel becomes locked, how can we resolve it?
Typically, the steering wheel will automatically unlock when the engine start button is in the ACC position. But if the steering wheel fails to unlock properly, there are some methods we can employ.
One method is to simultaneously turn the steering wheel left and right while pressing the engine start button to release tension and unlock the steering wheel.

However, steering wheel lock is a simple yet effective anti-theft feature. After the car is turned off, if the steering wheel is turned a certain angle from the center (usually to the left), it will produce a crisp "click" sound and lock in place.
In the locked steering wheel state, it is impossible to turn the steering wheel, twist the key, or start the car, effectively preventing theft. By using the keyless start system to release the steering wheel lock, we can easily resolve this issue.
Simply press the button to release tension and unlock the steering wheel. This technology not only enhances the safety performance of the vehicle but also provides convenience and comfort for drivers. Whether in daily use or emergency situations, the keyless start system improves the overall driving experience.
