When we want to inspect the car engine, we first need to understand the correct way to open the hood.
1：Location of the Hood Release Switch
· It is located on the left side panel of the driver's seat and can be either a handle or a button.
· Depending on the model, the switch may be set at the lower left corner of the center console or near the left foot area.
2：Steps to Open the Hood
· Locate and operate the hood release switch: Pull or press the switch, causing the hood to slightly lift.
· Release the hood latch: Walk to the front of the car, gently lift the hood with one hand, and use the other hand to reach into the gap to operate the latch.
· Secure the hood: Use the support rod or hydraulic support feature to ensure the hood stays securely open.
3：Safely Closing the Hood
· Slowly lower the hood and release it from about 30cm above.
· Press down firmly on the hood to ensure it is locked securely, avoiding accidental closures.
