Dealing with High Fuel Tank Pressure at High Speeds

During high-speed driving, if you notice abnormal pressure in the vehicle's fuel tank, it could be caused by several factors:

2

1:Blocked Fuel Tank Cap Relief Valve:

Increased pressure inside the fuel tank makes it difficult to open the fuel tank cap. You can confirm the issue by checking pressure and vacuum control. Replace the fuel tank cap if necessary.

2:Prolonged Accumulation in Carbon Canister:

Excessive refueling can lead to high fuel levels, causing insufficient space and leading gasoline to evaporate into the carbon canister, eventually causing blockage. Regularly clean the filter, monitor refueling amounts, and ensure the fuel level sensor is working correctly.

3:Damaged Carbon Canister Solenoid Valve:

When damaged, the fuel vapor cannot vent, forming a circuit where steam cannot be released from the tank, thus increasing the tank pressure.

If you encounter the above issues while driving against the wind, you can take the following measures:

1:Carefully adjust the fuel tank cap one-way valve to maintain constant pressure.

2:Control refueling amounts reasonably, monitor the filter's condition, and avoid overfilling.

3:Regularly inspect and maintain the carbon canister solenoid valve to ensure smooth ventilation.

4:If necessary, seek professional help to promptly address fuel tank pressure issues to avoid damage to the vehicle and related components.
