Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology, also known as PHC Technology

1:What is it?

1
Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology utilizes unique progressive hydraulic dampers to adjust their own damping according to road conditions. This enhances the vibration filtering of the shock absorbers and improves ride comfort.

2:Advantages:

Equipped with Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology, the damping of the shock absorbers changes more smoothly on small potholed roads, effectively filtering out vibrations from irregular road surfaces.
Under more bumpy road conditions, the damping changes more rapidly, resulting in a softer impact and effectively absorbing more shocks from the road.
3:Did you know?
Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology allows the vehicle to adjust its height for either comfort or maximum performance depending on the road conditions.
Shock absorbers with Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology have a larger stroke, allowing for softer contact with the internal buffer and the absorption of more energy, reducing rigid impacts.
The unique design structure allows for better heat dissipation, ensuring that the shock absorbers operate at their optimal working temperature.
Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology was first applied to the Citroën C5 Aircross in the automobile industry.
4:Principle:
Adaptive Hydraulic Stability Technology utilizes two hydraulic dampers within the shock absorber that exert compression and extension forces, repeatedly interacting with each other to shape the damping curve of the shock absorber. The motion of the shock absorber exhibits an S-shaped characteristic, where the outer tube compresses while the inner tube undergoes a reverse action. This allows for better absorption of shocks from the road, thereby improving ride comfort.
