In terms of appearance, the overall design of the ChangAn Oshan X5 PLUS is impressive and distinctive. The large polygonal front air intake grille adopts a frameless design and also features an active air intake grille inside. Additionally, the lines of the headlights and the front bumper are very sharp. Dimension-wise, the vehicle measures 4540/1860/1610 (1620) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2715mm.

From the side, the new car showcases multiple waistline designs, giving the body a full appearance, complemented by black dense-spoke wheel designs, exuding a strong sporty vibe. The tail design elements echo the front, but are relatively subtle. The car roof features a navigational light-style high-mounted brake light and twin-blade style taillights, which are quite unique. The lines of the rear bumper resemble those of the front bumper, paired with a dual-sided dual exhaust design, enhancing the sporty feel.

Specifically, the car features a 30-inch triple-screen setup, offering a visually stunning effect, but this is only available in the top-spec model. The instrument cluster in the top variant is 12.3 inches, while mid-to-low-end models have a 7-inch cluster. Moreover, the mid-to-high-end models have a 12.3-inch central control screen, while the base model features a 10.25-inch screen. However, the small screen on the left is standard across all variants, measuring 4.2 inches. Furthermore, the car also boasts a new electronic gear shift and integrated sport seats, enhancing the sporty feel and tech ambiance.

Notably, the ChangAn Oshan X5 PLUS has its three screens arrayed in front of the driver for easy viewing and operation. Among these screens, besides the regular instrument cluster and central control screen, the X5 PLUS also features a "driving assistance screen" on the left. This screen seamlessly displays navigation, a left A-pillar blind spot display, and road sign assistance, making it convenient for drivers to view navigation and real-time traffic information.

Regarding the powertrain, the new car will be equipped with the next-generation Blue Whale 1.5T turbocharged direct-injection four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output of 188 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm. In terms of the transmission system, it will be paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The chassis consists of a front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension setup.
