The BAIC JISHI 01 features a relatively squared-off body design. Its large front grille, paired with "stone" character-shaped headlights on both sides, gives it a very imposing appearance. Furthermore, robust black trims embellish the edges of the grille, enhancing the vehicle's rugged visual appeal.

From a side view, the BAIC JISHI 01 boasts a mostly flat roofline, providing more headroom inside the vehicle. The front and rear fenders slightly protrude from the body, exuding a muscular aura. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 5050 (5295) mm in length, 1980 mm in width, and 1869 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3010 mm.

At the rear, the BAIC JISHI 01 uses vertical taillights resembling the "stone" character shape seen in the front and is equipped with an externally mounted spare tire, emphasizing its off-road SUV characteristics. Its matte black bumpers, both front and rear, significantly improve the vehicle's clearance capabilities.

In terms of features, the BAIC JISHI 01 is equipped with seven charging ports and two wireless charging areas, boasting up to 40 storage compartments, significantly enhancing its daily usability. This model will also come standard with 14 speakers and, depending on the version, offer features like DCC electronic adaptive chassis tuning. For autonomous driving, the standard intelligent driving version will be equipped with five millimeter-wave radars, six cameras, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. Notably, thanks to the vehicle's four corner radars, it can detect and alert to suddenly appearing pedestrians and auxiliary vehicles. The advanced autonomous driving version utilizes two NVIDIA Orin-X chips with a total computing power of 508 TOPS and is equipped with high-perception hardware: a 128-line lidar, two blind-spot lidars, 12 cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. It's worth mentioning that the Jishi 01 integrates three lidars from Hesai, with a horizontal detection angle reaching 280 degrees and a vertical field of view for the blind-spot radar of 75 degrees, enhancing the vehicle's side detection capabilities.

In terms of power, the new vehicle will be equipped with a range extender hybrid system consisting of a B15F 1.5T four-cylinder engine, which delivers a maximum power of 112 kW. It will also feature a 56.01 kWh battery pack from CATL, offering a WLTC pure electric range of 235 km and a WLTC combined range of 1115 km.
