Haval H5

In terms of appearance, the all-new Haval H5 adopts a brand-new design style, conveying an American rugged SUV aesthetic. Specifically, its front is adorned with robust chrome decor. The dual-frame grille prominently features the HAVAL English logo at its center, and the front bumper showcases a simplistic, utilitarian design. Furthermore, the large polygonal headlamp cluster gives the vehicle a lively and spirited look.

From the side, the vehicle's wheel arches slightly protrude, lending it a muscular appeal. It also boasts a chunky C-pillar, and the D-pillar is painted in black, echoing the style of some American SUVs. Additionally, the inclusion of dense-spoke wheel rims enhances the vehicle's stylishness.

The new Haval H5 features a large trapezoidal air intake grille with robust silver chrome decorations on both the inside and outside. The headlight contour is consistent with that of the Tank 500, but the internal structure of the lamp chamber is slightly different.

The interior seats of the new Haval H5 are wrapped in leather material, with both the front and rear seats using the same upholstery. The rear seats come with three headrests and an adjustable backrest angle. Additionally, the car is equipped with features like a sunroof.

The rear design is relatively more understated, with vertically aligned tail lights on both sides connected by a central trim. The bottom of the rear features dual rectangular exhaust outlets. In terms of dimensions, the Haval H5 measures 5190mm in length, 1905mm in width, and 1835mm in height with a wheelbase of 3140mm, positioning it as a large-sized SUV. It also features a 25° approach angle, 22° departure angle, 200mm ground clearance, and a wading depth of 600mm.

Inside, the Haval H5's design is standard and reserved, retaining its rugged vibe but also in line with current design trends. It boasts a floating instrument panel and a 12.3-inch central control screen, but the central area still retains many physical buttons. Notably, it has an expansive trunk, with a maximum depth of 1965mm and a total volume of 2116L.

In terms of power, the Haval H5 offers a 2.0T engine. The gasoline version has a maximum output of 218 horsepower (160 kW), paired with an 8AT transmission. The diesel version's maximum power stands at 166 horsepower (122 kW). The chassis is of a non-bearing type, equipped with a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link integral axle suspension. It will also feature a part-time four-wheel-drive system and an Eaton mechanical differential lock.
