HongQi HQ9

As the first MPV model of the Hongqi brand, the HQ9 is positioned as a luxury mid-size MPV with a 2+2+3 seating layout. It is equipped with a 2.0T engine for power.

In terms of exterior design, the Hongqi HQ9 continues the family's design language, with a large waterfall-style grille dominating the front face. The iconic red badge is positioned on the hood and extends downward to the middle of the grille, enhancing the commanding presence of the front end. The body features full curves and flowing lines, highlighting the luxury and dignity of the Hongqi HQ9. The convenient dual sliding doors facilitate passenger access. The dimensions of the HQ9 are 5222mm in length, 2005mm in width, 1935mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3200mm. The rear end boasts a powerful appearance with trendy through-type taillights that provide excellent recognition when illuminated.

The interior of the Hongqi HQ9 showcases solid craftsmanship and premium materials. The interior color scheme includes pure and warm tones such as beige and gray, creating a calm, neutral, and novel ambiance. The car is equipped with W-HUD head-up display, a large suspended central control screen, a full LCD instrument panel, an electronic gear shift lever, and a new-style three-spoke steering wheel. The car also features a 12-channel high-fidelity speaker system by Dynaudio, with a maximum output power of 700W, delivering Hi-Fi level sound reproduction with minimal distortion. The combination of double-layer soundproof glass and privacy glass provides a quieter and more comfortable driving experience for passengers.

The wing-shaped headlights harmonize with the vertical strength of the grille, while the exquisite chrome trim further enhances the concept of the wing.

The second row is the highlight of the Hongqi HQ9. The spacious individual seats come with adjustable winged headrests, dual armrests on both sides, and an adjustable leg rest. The armrest also features an independent seat control display screen, allowing independent adjustment of the rear seat angle. Ventilation, heating, massage, and other functions are also available.

In terms of intelligent driving, the Hongqi HQ9 is equipped with three millimeter-wave radars, enabling features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear collision warning, reverse lateral warning, door opening warning, and lane change decision assistance. The car also features various safety driving assistance systems, including automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree surround view, and automatic emergency braking.

Powering the Hongqi HQ9 is a 2.0T turbocharged all-aluminum engine with the model number CA4GC20TD-35. It delivers a maximum power of 185 kW (252 horsepower) and peak torque of 380 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 9.5 seconds and has a fuel consumption of 8.4 liters per 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions.
